Platinized niobium probe anodes are rods, which are
covered with a platinum coating. With platinised niobium
probe anodes the electrical current transfer is accomplished
through the platinum coating thereby allowing the probe
anodes to with stand water turbulence without damage.
The specific platinum coating coating is immune to the
abrupt current reversals. Exposing platinized niobium
probe anodes to high-curresnt overloads for initial
