Marine Cathodic Protection

Ships are structures being exposed to environmental corrosion. Sea water is a very corrosive environment which accelerates oxidation of iron (mild steel) forming rust.

Almost every part of the ship is subjected to corrosion, with varying intensity. Parts of the vessel underwater or exposed to water (e.g. ballast tanks and pipes) are more affected by corrosion. Some of the parts highly exposed to corrosion by seawater.

We supply the following Impressed Current Cathodic Protection Anodes for Ships - Linear Loop Anodes – MMO or Platinised Titanium, Circular Anodes – MMO or Platinised Titanium, Elliptical Anodes – MMO or Platinised Titanium.
