Impressed current probe anodes to protect the internal surfaces of a structure, such as a condenser water box, process tank, pressure vessel, intake / discharge piping etc.,.

Platinized Niobium Probe anodes

Probe anodes are available in MMO Titanium and platinum coated materials with sealing features. Probe anode housing is 304/316 stainless steel, schedule 80. Other materials are available on request. Probe anodes can withstand a high current density (well over 2000 A/m2 in seawater) and can have a design life of 10 to 20 years, or even longer.

Anode Materials

Probe anode is available in a number of material choices as given below:

  • Platinized niobium
  • Platinized titanium
  • Mixed metal oxide (MMO)

Anode Coating types

IrO2-RuO2-TiO2-X(sea water), TrO2-TaO5-X(soil), Pt/Ti, Nb, Ta(sea water)
